JetBlue's status match is back! And it's been nearly a year since JetBlue targeted disgruntled Delta SkyMiles members with a status match. This time around, you can match to Mosaic tiers 1 and 2 from four domestic U.S. airlines — including (but not limited to) Delta.
Here's how to match your airline elite status to JetBlue and a look at the perks you'll enjoy as a Mosaic member.
How To Status Match to JetBlue TrueBlue
If you're looking for a new airline frequent flyer program to commit your loyalty to, JetBlue awaits your status match application. That is, of course, provided you currently hold elite status with Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, or United. Depending on your rank, you can match up to Mosaic 2.
You can find the match possibilities below:
Airline/Mosaic Tier | Alaska Airlines (Mileage Plan) | American Airlines (AAdvantage®) | Delta Air Lines (SkyMiles) | United Airlines (MileagePlus) |
---|---|---|---|---|
Mosaic 1 | MVP MVP Gold | Gold Platinum | Silver Gold | Premier Silver Premier Gold |
Mosaic 2 | MVP Gold 75K MVP Gold 100K | Platinum Pro Executive Platinum ConciergeKey | Platinum Diamond Delta 360° | Premier Platinum Premier 1K Global Services |
Filling out an application will take just a few minutes of your time. But first, you'll need to join the TrueBlue program (if you haven't already) and be ready to provide the following screenshots:
- Matches to Mosaic 1 and 2: A screenshot of your frequent flyer program profile showing your full name and proof of status.
- Matches to Mosaic 2 only: A screenshot or photo of your most recent boarding pass or flight confirmation email showing your status.
Once you've complied those three items, open up JetBlue's status match application and work through the steps. It's that simple, and better yet, it's free to apply!
JetBlue's status match terms and conditions suggest it'll take up to four weeks to process your application. Hopefully it doesn't actually take that long.

Jetblue Mosaic Perks
Over the past few years, JetBlue's TrueBlue program has undergone a lot of change. In its current state, you can earn “tiles” (through flying, credit card spending, outright purchases, and more) that count towards four tiers of Mosaic status.
JetBlue's latest offer only lets you match to the bottom two tiers of the Mosaic hierarchy. However, there's an expedited pathway to earn Mosaic 3.
Mosaic 1 benefits
As a Mosaic 1 member, you can enjoy the following benefits after matching into the TrueBlue program:
- Priority boarding.
- Priority security.
- Check in at the Mosaic airport counter.
- Up to 3 complimentary inflight beverages (includes beer, wine, and liquor).
- Complimentary same-day flight changes.
- Check two bags for free (for you and up to two companions).
- Select Even More Space seats at check-in.
- 24/7 Mosaic support.
JetBlue will also pre-select your “Perk You Pick.” At Mosaic 1, you'll get the Mint Suite Priority benefit. As a Mosaic member by status match, you won't have access to the full menu of Perks You Pick until you earn higher tiers.
Mosaic 2 benefits
At Mosaic 2, you'll enjoy all of the Mosaic 1 benefits, plus the ability to select Even More Space seats when you book and Mint Suite Priority. And you'll also get a pet fee waiver.
How to earn up to Mosaic 3 — and extend your status
After successfully matching, your Mosaic status will be valid for three months. You can extend it through the following calendar year by earning tiles. If you're new to tiles, they work like this:
- 1 tile for every $100 spent on JetBlue flights (including extras and fees), JetBlue Vacations packages, and Paisly bookings.
- 1 tile for every $1,000 spent on JetBlue's credit cards, which includes the JetBlue Card, JetBlue Plus Card, and JetBlue Business Card.
To extend your status or bump up to Mosaic 3, you'll need to earn the following within three months of matching:
- Mosaic 1: 10 tiles.
- Mosaic 2: 25 tiles.
- Mosaic 3: 40 tiles.
With the right strategy, you should be able to extend your status fairly easily.
Final Thoughts
For the right traveler, JetBlue's TrueBlue loyalty program makes a lot of sense. If you fly the airline enough, the perks of having Mosaic status will truly shine — especially if you book Blue Basic tickets or want to check a couple of bags without paying JetBlue's recently increased bag fees.
There's no end date to this promotion, so consider acting fast if it's one you plan to take advantage of. That way, you won't miss out.
