What is a Pandora battery? A Pandora battery is a PSP battery that has been modified to force a PSP to enter “service mode” when turned on with the modified battery. Putting the PSP into “service mode” allows software to circumvent the PSP's security measures, and re-write the PSP's firmware.
The batteries for the PSP-1000 featured 1800 mAh and 2200 mAh SKUs, but the Slim batteries for the PSP-2000/3000 series can be used on the 1000 series as well. Unlike future PSP SKUs, the PSP-1000 series only has 32 MB of RAM and no options for video output.
The PSP-3000 was released in 2008, following closely after the PSP-2000. It brought a brighter screen, earning it the nickname "PSP Brite," and a slightly better battery. It is generally considered the best of the PSP models overall, though if you're looking for homebrew capability, the PSP-1000 is still superior.
You can charge your PlayStation Portable (PSP) with either the AC adapter connected to a wall outlet or with a mini USB connected to your computer. The PSP has an estimated battery life of around four to five hours and you may need to completely charge your PSP in order for any software updates to complete.
The two more or less look the same, but the Slim is shinier than the Fat as well as “more roundie” as GamePro put it. Like Hickey pointed out, it's basically the current PSP we all know and… well, not love, but the PSP we all use to play PS1 games on.
Connecting the Sony PlayStation® Portable or PSP™ to a wireless network allows you to browse web pages and sites, download new games, listen to Internet radio, play multiplayer games online, and even use the RSS Channel to get news and other information.
Connect the USB cable to the system and to the device.2.Turn on the PSP™ system and select (Settings) > (USB Connection). The POWER indicator will turn orange and charging will begin.
Turn off your console completely by holding the power button. Wait for the power light to stop flashing, then remove the power cable. Leave the console unplugged for 20 minutes. Reconnect the console and turn it back on.
In most cases, this will force the PSP to shutdown. If this doesn't work, try holding the Right Shoulder button and then hold the Power switch for about 5 seconds. This should power your PSP down.
Re: Can you put a psp 2000 screen into a psp 1000? yes in fact it is. The Slim is about 30% brighter, I believe it is, and the colors look warmer and more vivid on the slim.
