The Most Informative Mortal Kombat Source on the Web - Mortal Kombat Secrets (2024)

It has been a while, but we finally have a new piece of information regarding Mortal Kombat 1 (2023), directly from Ed Boon himself, and it's that the trailer for Peacemaker, the next guest character in the game, is coming tomorrow for all of us to see.

As you all know, Peacemaker has been delayed for undisclosed reasons, but we finally are gonna see him tomorrow, and most likely, with an all-new Kombat Kast in the coming days to give us all the information regarding about Peacemaker, as well as whichever Kameo is gonna be added, and any new details on top of that.

The official lineup for Evolution Championship Series 2024, also known as EVO in short, has been released, and within a whole bunch of fighting games included in the line-up, there's the name of Mortal Kombat 1 (2023), making it's first year at the event.

In case you didn't know, Mortal Kombat 11 was the longest running Mortal Kombat game at EVO, running through 5 years in a row at the event, from 2019 to 2023. Considering that MK1 (2023) has been confirmed to be supported for a very long time, this indicates that this game will at the very least be close to that record, if not tying it or even breaking it.

Netherrealm Studios has just announced that Peacemaker, the third DLC main fighter for Mortal Kombat 1 (2023) will be available in Early Access (for owners of the Kombat Pack) on February 28th 2024. This means that everyone else will be able to purchase him a week later.

On this date, Netherrealm Studios will also start Mortal Kombat 1 (2023) Season 4, featuring Mileena as the final boss. To fill the two weeks gap until the beginning of Season 4, Season 3 has been extended by two weeks as well.

For several days now, there have been rumors, that Season 4 and Peacemaker will be delayed for two weeks which was officially confirmed today. We can only speculate what the reasons are and why Netherrealm Studios are behind their initial schedule for the update but we hope they use the extra time well and deliver a truly polished experience for everyone. The Season 3 extension is surely welcome by everyone who hasn't finished it yet. On the other hand, this is now officially the longest running season, coming at two and a half months and I am sure that a lot of players cannot wait for it to be over and for the next one to start.

The Mortal Kombat series is infamous for having insanely difficult boss characters, in Arcade mode and more recently, Story modes as well. Even the bosses in Mortal Kombat 11's Towers of Time mode and Mortal Kombat 1 (2023)'s Invasions mode can be very difficult without the proper setup.

Ketchup has just uploaded a new video, focusing on all of the Arcade mode bosses from original Mortal Kombat 1 all the way to the current-day MK1 (2023), and showcases how to easily defeat every single one of them in a very trivial fashion. Keep in mind though that some of these methods are specific to only some characters from the rosters of their respective games, and some will still be easier than others.

Mortal Kombat 1 (2023) has just received a new patch across all platforms today. This patch beings a couple of changes to Invasions mode both in bug fixes and gameplay changes to the current Season of Invasions, which is Season 3. And more importantly, it is said to fix the desync issues that occurred in Kombat League over the past few weeks. Here are the patch notes:

• Addressed a desync that occurs during Kombat League Sets.
• Lowered the requirements of Invasions Season 3 Klue, Sai-O-Nara, from 9 to 4 connected Sai Toss.
• Fixed progression loss for first time users in Invasions.

Let's hope that the desync issues have been finally fixed for the game.
