A broad high pressure ridge extends over the State whilst a trough deepens over the NSW coast. Today a low pressure system deepens within the trough which then moves southwards and just off of the eastern Victorian coastline by Saturday, before moving away. On Sunday the next cold front crosses the State and on Monday, a ridge sweeps across the state ahead of another cold front in the Bight.
