I am happy to share that I earned my Canvas Learning Path Badge after completing the required training modules and utilizing my prior experience with learning management systems to develop a training program in Canvas for Penn State Scranton's Peer Advisor pilot program. It was a project I was thrilled to be able to complete prior to my exit from PSU and I can only hope the students will benefit from an additional campus resource that positively contributes to their academic success and the improvement of student retention.https://lnkd.in/ewNahNc7

A few weeks ago I made the tough decision to leave my position at Penn State. This was not an easy decision. I loved my job and the amazing community of people I got to work with, but this will hopefully open up the door to new opportunities, possibly even beyond higher education, that I haven’t explored yet. I will forever be grateful for my time at PSU Scranton and the great experience I had with working for such a wonderful university. Now, I begin the search for my next endeavor and can’t wait to see what life has in store.

After 11 years at Marywood, today I said goodbye to some amazing coworkers, many of whom I consider family and friends. While it is bittersweet, I can’t wait for this next chapter at Penn State (Scranton campus) where I will be doing academic advising and helping students achieve their own dreams! “We are… Penn State”!
